What are roller shots?
Roller shots are photos taken from a moving vehicle, typically alongside your car, to create a sense of motion while keeping your vehicle sharp and in focus.
How do you shoot rollers?
I shoot harnessed securely from the back of my SUV while both vehicles are in motion. This allows me to capture low, dynamic angles and smooth motion blur safely and effectively.
Is it safe?
Yes. Safety is my top priority. I use professional harnessing equipment, maintain constant communication with drivers, and only shoot in controlled environments with experienced drivers.
Where do rollers usually get shot?
We typically shoot on quiet roads, industrial areas, or scenic routes with minimal traffic to ensure both safety and the best visual results.
How fast do we go during a shoot?
Most roller shots are taken at relatively low speeds (often 20–60 km/h). The sense of speed comes from camera technique, not actual high-speed driving.
What should I do to prepare my car?
Make sure your car is clean inside and out. Pay attention to details like tire shine, clean windows, and removing clutter.
